SCCM — Guidelines for the Administration of Neuromuscular Blockade in Adults With ARDS

SCCM conditionally suggests neuromuscular blockade for adults with ARDS and PaO2/FiO2 <150 who remain persistently hypoxemic and/or are not achieving mechanical-ventilation targets despite sedation. Prone positioning by itself does not mandate neuromuscular blockade.
