AHA/ASA 2022 — Guideline for the Management of Patients With Spontaneous Intracerebral Hemorrhage

AHA / American Stroke Association, 2022

For mild-to-moderate spontaneous ICH presenting with SBP 150–220 mmHg, lowering to a target of 140 mmHg with maintenance 130–150 mmHg is safe and may be reasonable; SBP <130 mmHg is potentially harmful. Anticoagulant reversal should follow agent-specific guideline recommendations. Platelet transfusion is not routinely recommended for non-surgical aspirin-associated ICH and may be harmful.
