Use a trained parallel patient/circuit emergency response with early ECMO troubleshooting. Assess perfusion, cannulae, blood flow, pump function and gas supply. Circuit-specific interventions and resuscitation depend on ECMO configuration and local manufacturer-compatible procedures; an isolated flow value is not a universal adequacy target.
