Assess procedure-specific bleeding and thrombosis risks. Suggested platelet thresholds are at least 20,000/µL for BAL without biopsy and 50,000/µL for biopsy; certainty is low/very low. Low-dose aspirin generally need not be stopped. Individualize other antithrombotics, particularly with recent coronary stenting; routine heparin bridging is not recommended.
